Buy Directly From Japanese Auto Auctions – Safely & Transparently
TSURUGI Inc. is a licensed Japanese company based in Toyama, Japan (est. 2011). We act as your auction purchasing and export agent, helping international buyers purchase vehicles from major Japanese auction groups such as USS, TAA, CAA, JU and more.
We focus on clear communication, transparent costs, and documented payments – so you understand what you buy, what you pay, and how the process works.
Why Choose TSURUGI
- Japan-based since 2011 with a real yard, documents, and corporate bank account.
- Transparent breakdown – you receive an itemised estimate before bidding.
- Auction sheet translation & explanation (English / Russian).
- Optional post-purchase services arranged only on request (inspection, cleaning, rust work, parts).
- Worldwide export support – RoRo / Container shipping options.
How It Works (6 Steps)
- Send your request (model, budget, destination) — we reply with market guidance and realistic target pricing.
- Receive a pre-bid estimate with a clear cost breakdown and shipping options.
- Confirm bidding deposit (USD 1,000) to activate auction participation.
- We bid on your behalf only within your approved maximum price.
- If you win, you pay the vehicle total by invoice within auction deadlines.
- Export & shipping – transport to port, export certificate, and shipping arrangement to your country.
Costs: Transparent Breakdown (Example)
Example (illustration):
- Auction hammer price: ¥1,488,000
- Auction fee: ¥39,000
- Japan consumption tax (10%): ¥148,800
- Recycling fee (varies by vehicle): ¥10,230
- Domestic transport to our yard (varies by location): ¥75,000
- TSURUGI service commission (fixed): ¥11,000
Total to our yard: ¥1,772,030
International shipping (RoRo / Container) is calculated separately based on destination and method. Export paperwork preparation is included (export certificate, standard export documentation).
Payment Methods (International)
- SWIFT bank transfer to our corporate MUFJ bank account (invoice provided).
- Escrow.com for bidding deposit (recommended for first-time buyers; escrow fees may apply).
For safety, we do not recommend PayPal / card payments for auction deposits due to chargeback risk and auction non-cancel rules.
Bidding Deposit Policy (USD 1,000)
Japanese auctions are binding: once a bid is placed and the vehicle is won, the purchase generally cannot be cancelled. To protect both sides and cover auction-related risk, we require a refundable bidding deposit of USD 1,000.
- Deposit is separate from the vehicle payment and is not mixed with the car invoice.
- If you continue bidding without winning, the deposit stays on your account (no fee charged).
- If you win and fully pay for the vehicle, the deposit is refunded in full.
- If you withdraw before purchasing any vehicle, we deduct a USD 100 service fee and refund the remaining balance (minus bank/transfer fees if applicable).
- If a client cancels after bidding authorization, refuses a won vehicle, or fails to pay on time, deposit may be used to cover auction penalties, domestic transport, re-auction costs, and administrative expenses.
