SHIPPING POLICY – ONLINE SHOP

This Shipping Policy applies only to purchases made through the Online Shop section of www.tsurugi.co.jp.

1. Order Processing

Orders are generally processed within 3–7 business days after payment confirmation. Processing time does not include shipping transit time. During peak periods, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances, processing may take longer.

2. Shipping Methods

We offer the following shipping methods (availability may vary by destination):

  • EMS (Express Mail Service)
  • Air Mail
  • Surface Mail
  • Economy (No Tracking)
  • *epacket light with tracking

Shipping options are shown at checkout.

3. Delivery Time Estimates

Estimated delivery times are provided for reference only and are not guaranteed. International shipments may be delayed due to:

  • Customs inspection
  • Local postal service conditions
  • Weather events
  • Government regulations
  • Pandemic-related disruptions

Transit times may vary significantly.

4. Risk of Loss

All shipments are made under a shipment contract in accordance with Japanese commercial practice. Risk of loss and title transfer to the customer upon delivery of the goods to the shipping carrier.

5. Tracked Shipments

For shipping methods that include tracking:

  • Delivery is considered complete when the carrier tracking system confirms delivery to the provided address.
  • The customer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the shipping address.
  • We are not responsible for porch theft, courier misdelivery, or local handling issues once delivery is confirmed by tracking.

If tracking confirms delivery, the order is considered fulfilled.

6. Economy / No-Tracking Shipping

If the customer selects Economy (No Tracking):

  • No tracking number will be provided.
  • Delivery time may be extended.
  • Shipment progress cannot be verified.

By selecting this shipping method, the customer accepts full responsibility for risks associated with untracked international mail, including delay or non-delivery. Refunds for untracked shipments are issued solely at the discretion of TSURUGI INC.

7. Delivery Issues & Claims

If tracking indicates delivery but the customer claims non-receipt:

  • The customer must contact the local postal service to initiate an investigation.
  • We may assist by providing shipment documentation.
  • We are not liable for confirmed delivered shipments.

If a shipment is returned due to incorrect address or failure to collect:

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Re-shipping requires payment of a new shipping fee.

8. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect or incomplete address information provided at checkout.

9. Customs Delays

Customs clearance times vary by country. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs inspection or regulatory procedures.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to deliver due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, postal suspension, government restrictions, or pandemic-related disruptions.
